20 USEFUL TRAVEL HACKS

Am I the only one who loves a good travel hack? Anything to make things easier to travel or more efficient! It seems like everyone has their own tricks. Here are some of my favorites!

1. Take the shower cap at hotels and use it for dirty laundry or to separate your dirty shoes in your suitcase.

2. Pack some dryer sheets in your suitcase and in your sneakers to keep everything smelling fresh! Or put a few drops of essential oils on a small square of cloth.

3. Stash some cash in an extra lip balm container.

4. Science proves that most people turn right so turn left instead to get through security faster.

5. When traveling with liquids, place a piece of plastic wrap over the bottle then screw on the cap.

6. Rolling your clothes saves space and helps keep them from wrinkling. Also, use packing cubes!

7. Wrap your hair tools in a fabric potholder.

8. Use a binder clip to keep your razor secure and to keep yourself from accidentally cutting yourself if digging through the bag.

9. Contact cases are great places to store liquid makeup, skin care products, or small earrings.

10. Use a tic-tac container to store your bobby pins.

11. Use your belt while packing to keep your collar stiff.

12. Put small cords and wires in a hard sunglass case.

13. Put your undergarments in ziplock bags and roll the air out to save space in your suitcase.

14. Use buttons to keep your earrings together.

15. Use a daily pill organizer container to carry your meds. If taking many different ones, cut the label out and attach it to the each section.

16. Leave hair tools at home if you can. Just learn a few easy ways to style your natural hair or pack a sea-salt beach spray.

17. Plan your outfits in advance and take photos of them so you can easily remember what you have.

18. Put heavy things near your suitcase wheels so when you stand it up the heavier things are not upside down or getting smashed.

19. Use your contact case to store a small amount of foundation or primer/concealers. Leave the big bottles at home.

20. Put cotton rounds in your compacts to keep them from breaking.
